
Gay For Good is excited to announce the newly elected officers for the 2025–2027 officer term.
Brian Paul Allen (he/him) of New York City has been elected Board Chair. Brian is a seasoned fundraising and development strategist with a background in campaign planning, donor engagement, and philanthropic leadership. He is currently a Director at Orr Group. He also serves on the Development Committee for the American LGBTQ+ Museum. Brian joined the board in 2023 and has served as Development Committee Chair for the past year.
Sterling Williams (he/him) of Sacramento has been named Vice Chair. Sterling brings a decade of experience in education and program development, with a focus on equity and support for at-promise youth. With a background in law and philosophy, he brings a thoughtful and solutions-oriented approach to leadership. Sterling joined the board in 2021 and currently serves on the Governance and Organizational Development Committees.
Diego Sanchez (he/him) of San Diego returns as Secretary. Diego brings strong expertise in operations and employee development and holds advanced degrees in business, global leadership, and project management. He also holds a nonprofit board service certification and is passionate about supporting mission-driven organizations. Diego joined the board in 2023 and current sits on the Organizational Development Committee.
Janine Vesper (she/her) of New Hope, MN, will continue in her role as Treasurer. Janine has over three decades of experience in operations, project management, and process improvement across multiple industries. Her focus on participant-centered training and customer experience has helped strengthen Gay For Good’s internal systems, especially the annual budgeting process at Gay For Good. Janine joined the board in 2021 and is the current chair of the Finance Committee.
Brian, the recently elected chair, shared, “I am absolutely thrilled about the opportunity to serve as the Chair of the Board for an organization that is so close to my heart. Gay For Good is the kind of organization the world needs more of, and I am excited to see where we go in the next several years.”
These dedicated leaders bring diverse perspectives and talents to Gay For Good’s National Board of Directors. We are grateful for their service and energized for the year ahead as they help guide our mission to mobilize LGBTQ+ and ally volunteers in service to the broader community.
