Help Decorate Socks and Create Goodie Packs (Virtually) for Kids in the Hospital Battling Cancer

Join Gay for Good NYC as we support the great work of the Koenig Childhood Cancer Foundation. This is a children founded and led organization. How incredible is that? Their mission is to support children battling cancer financially and emotionally.

On Thursday, January 28th, we will gather virtually via Zoom to decorate socks and make goody bags for children who are currently in the hospital battling cancer. All you need is your creativity and some materials noted below!

Elana, 12 year old cancer survivor and Founder of the Koenig Childhood Cancer Foundation will join us to share her story and decorate these socks with us.

WHERE: From the comfort of your own home – virtually via Zoom. (link will be shared via email to all registered volunteers in advance of the event)

ITEMS YOU WILL NEED:
Socks (Can be Colorful or Blank – We Will Decorate Them!)
Glue Gun & Decorative Embellishments
Chocolate Bars (2 Preferably)
A Little Toy (Optional)
Plastic Bag To Put the Items Together
Rubber Bands or Ribbon to Make a Bow
