Help Out With The Islamic Center Of Southern California:

Our friends at the Islamic Center of Southern California are preparing lunches for people experiencing homelessness this Saturday the 22nd. They need 6 people to help out. Because this is such a small group we are looking for please only RSVP if you are sure you can attend. Time is short on this one and it is unlikely we will be able to replace a volunteer before the event on Saturday.

The team at the center will give you items to load into your car, like water bottles, dried snacks, and fruit to take 3/4 of a mile away to a church where the crew from the Islamic Center will meet you to help prepare the lunches and the snack bags for people experiencing homelessness.

As we ease back into smaller in-person volunteer events, we ask all those wishing to volunteer to be SAFE by practicing CDC safety guidelines (physical distancing, wear a mask, hand washing, and sanitizer use). If you have a fever or cough the day of the event, please do not attend. Thank you!
