Join G4G As We Clean Up Units For Homeless Youth!

Volunteers will clean and spruce up living units for homeless youths in Saint Paul. We will be deep cleaning the living and office areas for a few hours and then we will get together and socialize.

Date:  Saturday, June 7, 2025

Time: 9am – 12pm

What To Wear: Wear comfortable clothing and closed toe shoes. Wear clothes that you don’t mind getting a little dirty.

About our Partner: Rezek House is a two-year transitional living program for youth ages 16 – 21 experiencing homelessness.

Afterwards: Join us for a social time after our work. Place TBD

Rezek offers 10 efficiency units for single youth as well as two one-bedroom units for parenting youth. The youth pay “rent” by placing 30 percent of their income into a savings account. They are required to allow their savings to accumulate until they move out. Paying monthly rent empowers young people in gaining budgeting skills and developing rental history.

Rezek also includes a drop-in center/resource hub. Designated for young people in their programs, the drop-in center provides access to a phone, computer, community kitchen stocked with healthy food, and various classes and events led by staff and community volunteers.
