G4G Twin Cities + Mile in My Shoes, 5k Woo! at the U 6/4/2022

Gay for Good Twin Cities is partnering with the Mile in My Shoes (MiMS)

Join us as we support Mile in My Shoes and their teams of Resident Members (people staying in shelters, reentry centers and recovery programs) and volunteer Run Mentors run this 5K- Woo! At the U.  MiMS vision is to build bonds, boost wellness, and spark social action by bringing the power of running to people experiencing homelessness and other barriers.

Location: Coffman Union Front Lawn, University of MN. 300 Washington Ave SE, Minneapolis, MN 55455

Project Lead: Janine Vesper (she/her)

Volunteers Needed: 20

Volunteer Tasks: Course Marshall.   G4G volunteers will be posted along the run route to cheer on the runners and help guide them on the course route. That is right!  Bring your cow bell! 

After: We will meet in the area for lunch and to socialize afterward. Details will be shared closer to the event.
