Gay For Good is partnering with ComoConnects to provide fall yard clean-up at four senior’s homes in Saint Paul!
Our volunteers will rake leaves and provide fall yard clean-up at four senior’s homes. We will split into groups to work on each house and come back together to socialize afterwards.
Date: Saturday, October 21
Time: 10:30 am – 12:30 pm
Location: Meet at Como Lutheran Church, 1376 Hoyt Ave W, St. Paul 55108

Volunteer Slots: 25
Additional details: Wear comfortable clothing for raking and for the weather. Wear clothes that you don’t mind getting a little dirty. Rakes, gloves, and bags will be supplied.

About our Partner: ComoConnects is a Block Nurse Program that links older adults in the Como Park/Falcon Heights area with community resources, using staff and volunteers. Their services support independence, increase opportunities for socialization and promote safety for adults as they age. This helps seniors and enables them to stay in their homes and still function “on their own” instead of moving to more expensive housing such as assisted living apartments or care centers.
