Volunteer With G4G at the Irish Fair of Minnesota
Join us as we offer assistance to one of the largest and most authentic Irish festivals nationwide. This annual festival is recognized as one of the most family-friendly events in the Twin Cities and is amazingly fun!
Every volunteer will receive free weekend admission to the fair and a few other awesome freebies! See below for more details.
Date: Saturday, August 9, 2025
Location: Harriet Island Regional Park, 175 W. Water Street, St. Paul, MN 55117
Ages: 21+
Volunteer Shifts:
Box Office Volunteer – 8 Volunteer Slots Available
- Time: 9:30am – 12:30pm
- Responsibilities include: using a point-of-sale system to sell tickets, checking-in advance ticket holders, and/or answering general guest questions.
Green Team Volunteer – 4 Volunteer Slots Available (will be split into 2 pairs)
- Time: 10am – 2pm
- Responsibilities include: helping guests understand what can be recycled, ensuring only recyclable items are placed in the recycling bins and only compostable items go in the organics recycling bins (gloves and trash pickers will be provided, and you may be asked to spot check recycling bins around the fair to ensure they are free from trash.
Beverage Booth Volunteer – 4 Volunteer Slots Available (will be split into 2 pairs)
- Time: 9:30am – 1:30pm
- Responsibilities include: working a point-of-sale system and collecting payment; checking guests’ IDs and putting wristbands on them; pouring the perfect pint; keeping the beverage coolers stocked and cold. MUST BE 21. MUST ATTEND A MANDATORY ALCOHOL AWARENESS TRAINING PRIOR.
If a volunteer is unable to stay during the entire shift, please let us know.

What To Wear/Bring: Wear a hat if needed and bring a water bottle.
Parking/Transportation: There is free parking for volunteers. More info to come later.
All Volunteers for this event will receive:
- T-shirt
- Non-alcoholic beverages and snacks
- Weekend admission to the fair
- Free parking on the day(s) you volunteer
- 1 beverage ticket per shift
- Invite to volunteer appreciation party after the fair
