G4G Twin Cities + Bridge For Youth

Gay For Good Is Partnering with The Bridge to wrap holiday gifts!

We are looking for 8–10 volunteers to provide gift bags and wrapping materials and wrap donated holiday gifts for youth on-site at The Bridge.

For over 50 years, The Bridge has pioneered innovative services and served as a model for effective programming for youth experiencing homelessness and their families. What started as one of the first programs in the Twin Cities and the nation to provide refuge from child abuse, teen prostitution, drug abuse, and domestic violence, is today one of the most respected nonprofits in the country serving youth experiencing homelessness. The Bridge has maintained commitment to youth experiencing homelessness, sheltering thousands of youth in crisis, reuniting families, preventing youth homelessness, and empowering youth to become healthy, productive adults.

Location: The Bridge for Youth,  1111 W 22^nd St. Minneapolis, MN 55405

Additional Details:  Our group will be wrapping donated gifts for youth using their services. If you have an extra roll of holiday wrapping paper, gifts bags, etc. please bring with you to the event to use for wrapping.

If you are unable to join us to wrap the gifts, you can still help. You can purchase requested gifts from the wish list at The Bridge  Target registry and they will be sent straight to The Bridge.  Feel free to share this link with your friends and family who would like to help in this way for the Holidays!

Age Requirements: If you can wrap a gift, age does not matter!  🙂
