Volunteer With Us to Beautify the National AIDS Memorial Grove
Join Gay For Good San Francisco to help the National AIDS Memorial Grove look its best. After an orientation, we will work alongside other individual and group volunteers to weed, spread mulch, clean brush, and clear debris.

Time: 8:30am – 12pm
Location in Golden Gate Park: National AIDS Memorial Grove, Nancy Pelosi Drive & Bowling Green Drive, San Francisco, CA 94122

Volunteers Needed: 25
Additional Details:
- Registration begins at 8:30am, where a breakfast of coffee, juices, bagels and fruit will be provided.
- Gloves and tools are provided.
- We suggest that you wear sturdy shoes and clothing (jeans and long-sleeved shirts; no open toed shoes), hat or visor.
- At noon, work will end, and volunteers gather for ‘Circle Time’ for announcements, and a moment of silence in honor of lives lost to AIDS.
- Lunch will then be provided.
About our Partner: The mission of the National AIDS Memorial is to provide, in perpetuity, a place of remembrance so that the lives of people who died from AIDS are not forgotten and the story is known by future generations.
