G4G SF + AIDS/Lifecycle – Day 0 Orientation

Join us as we send off the Riders & Roadies of AIDS/Lifecycle 2024!

Our annual first event of Pride month is always popular! We’ll be the last stop in the registration process for ALC’s almost 3,000 Riders and Roadies, including our own SF Chapter Lead Bryan Wampler-Cleveland, who will be on the event as a Roadie! Have fun, Bryan!

We’ll be responsible for verifying that all paperwork is in order, allowing participants to receive their final information package and becoming officially cleared to Ride and Roadie!

G4G volunteers always enjoy this event—we have spots for 30 volunteers.

Date: Saturday June 1, 2024
Time: 8:15am – 2pm

**Please arrive by 8:15am for ALC’s volunteer training, followed by G4G SF announcements and group photo.**

Location: Cow Palace Arena & Event Center, 2600 Geneva Ave, in Daly City.

• Free onsite parking
• Public transportation options available.
• NOTE: Rail service to the Balboa Park BART station will be suspended the weekend of June 1 & 2.
• Follow the signs to the Volunteer Check-in area, where you’ll be given an ALC Volunteer t-shirt and name tag
• Lunch and water will be provided by ALC
• Wear layers, the facility may be cool

Additional Pride Month Events!

Sunday, June 23: Join us for a Pride Month Social at The Detour , 3-5pm! This will be a casual and fun opportunity to socialize outside of a service project. No weeding or lifting of heavy objects involved! No sign-up required but an announcement will go out closer to the date.

Sunday, June 30: To close out Pride Month, we’ll be helping to take down the annual Pink Triangle on Twin Peaks starting at 4:30pm. Registration for this service project will be announced very soon.
