G4G SF Pride Beverage Service Event

Gay For Good San Francisco will be supporting  San Francisco Pride 2025. This year’s theme is “Queer Joy is Resistance” and what better way to show resistance than participation. We will be running the SF Pride Beverage Booth during the celebration at the Civic Center. A donation is being given to G4G SF for our volunteer services over the 2-day event.

This service opportunity was brought to Gay For Good by TurnOut that helps recruit volunteers to support queer and trans grassroots organizations. 

Date:  Saturday, June 28, 2025
Event Time:  12:00 – 6:00pm   (Split over 3 shifts)
Location: Civic Center  UN Plaza  Map
Please arrive 20-30 minutes prior to your shift for a brief orientation and group photo.

Public Transit: Near the Civic Center Muni/BART Station

VOLUNTEER SHIFTS & TASKS:
Shifts run for 2 1/4 hours  and overlap to maintain continuity in service. We must have 10 volunteers at the beverage booth at all times. Feel free to sign up for one or more shifts. 

Shift 1:  11:45–2:00pm:  (10 positions, 2 1/4 hours)
Shift 2:  1:45pm–4:00pm:  (10 positions, 2 1/4 hours)
Shift 3:  3:45pm–6:00pm:  (10 positions, 2 1/4 hours)


Volunteer Check-in:

Enter through the designated Volunteer Gate at Hyde & Market and go to our assigned area for check-in and orientation.
Note: Allow 30 minutes to clear security and walk to our assigned area.

Assigned Area:
Bar 5, beer & cocktail services.
Located at Larkin & Golden Gate.

Public Transit: The Civic Center Muni/BART Station

Recommended Attire: Please wear comfortable shoes as you will be on your feet. Volunteers are encouraged to wear their Gay For Good t-shirts.

Refreshments: Water and light snacks will be provided, but bring a water bottle

COVID Guidelines: Masks are optional. Please cancel if you are not feeling well.

About Our Partners: San Francisco Pride is dedicated to creating a vibrant and inclusive community for LGBTQ+ individuals and allies. As the largest gathering of the LGBTQ+ community and allies in the nation, this annual celebration brings together over 200 parade contingents and exhibitors, and features many community-run stages and venues.  

TurnOut works to strengthen intersectional grassroots movements working together across issue areas to build a new world for us all by recruiting volunteers to support queer and trans grassroots organizations.
