Join Us For the Pink Triangle Take-Down Event!

Join Gay For Good San Francisco to help The Friends of the Pink Triangle with take-down and storage activities for the 30th annual Pink Triangle event.

The Pink Triangle is a community-building event that is a highly-visible reminder of the inhumanity that can take place when we aren’t vigilant. It’s nearly an acre in size and can be seen for 20 miles and is a giant in-your-face educational tool. It’s a REMINDER and a WARNING of what has happened in the past and might happen again if we aren’t vigilant.

The take-down and packing up of the Pink Triangle is when they need volunteers the most, especially this year since it falls on the same day as SF Pride.

Date: Sunday June 29, 2025
Time: 4:30pm – 8pm

Location: Christmas Tree Point Road, top of Twin Pinks Blvd, San Francisco, CA 94131
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the event for introductions and badging. We want to start on time before it gets foggy and chilly. You can spot the event easily as there will be pink fabric all over the place as well as people wearing Pink Triangle t-shirts (everyone who volunteers will receive a shirt).

Public Transit: 33 bus to Clayton & Carmel Streets or 37 bus to Parkridge & Crestline Drives.

Project Leads: Barry Schmell (he/him) and Bill Delaney (he/him)

Volunteers Needed: 25

What To Wear: Please wear comfortable yet work/sturdy clothes, heavy shoes and long pants due to the hillside and heavy work involved.  You will get dirty!

Additional Information:

  • If possible, bring your own HAMMER and GLOVES to this event (some will be available for use on site if you don’t have one)
  • SUNSCREEN and or HAT are strongly recommended
  • Please wear work/sturdy clothes and heavy shoes due to the hillside and heavy work involved
  • A City and County of San Francisco waiver is required to be signed and will be available onsite
  • Water and energy bars will be provided

As always, email sanfrancisco@gayforgood.org or message us on FB/IG with questions/concerns.
