G4G SF and GLIDE Memorial Lunch Service Event

Gay For Good volunteers will be supporting Glide’s mission by assisting with their Daily Free Meals Program.  Glide’s Daily Free Meals Program provides three nutritious meals a day, 364 days a year, to the poor, homeless and hungry.

The lunch service shift runs for 2.5 hours: 30 minutes orientation and setup, 1.5 hours meal service and 30 minutes cleanup.

Date: Saturday, March 15, 2025
Time: 11:00am–1:30pm PST

Location: Glide is located at 330 Ellis Street, San Francisco, CA 94102.
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your shift.  We’ll meet in the lobby for introductions, badging, and a group photo.

Public Transit: Near the Powell BART/Muni Station

Recommended Attire: Please wear comfortable shoes as you will be on your feet. Volunteers are encouraged to wear their Gay For Good T-shirts.  Gloves and hairnets will be provided by Glide.

Lunch Afterwards (optional): Caffe Central or Mason Diner depending on the time.

COVID Guidelines: Masks are optional. Please cancel if you are not feeling well.  Please have a copy of your proof of vaccination available upon arrival.

Age Requirements: Volunteers must be 21 years of age.
