Join Gay For Good San Francisco For Our February Service Event

Gay For Good volunteers will be supporting Glide’s mission by assisting with their Daily Free Meals Program.  Glide’s Daily Free Meals Program provides three nutritious meals a day, 364 days a year, to the poor, homeless and hungry.

There are two volunteer shifts, one is a bag lunch prep (10 volunteers needed) and one is a lunch service (20 volunteers needed).  Both shifts run for two hours.  We ask that you only sign-up for one shift to allow more volunteers to participate at this service event.

Date: Saturday, February 10
Shift 1: 9–11am PST— Weekend Bag Lunch Prep
Shift 2: 11:30am–1:30pm PST—Weekend Lunch Service

Location: Glide is located at 330 Ellis Street, San Francisco, CA 94102.  Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your shift.  We’ll meet in the lobby for introductions, badging, and a photo.

Recommended Attire: Please wear comfortable shoes as you will be on your feet. Volunteers are encouraged to wear their Gay For Good T-shirts.  Gloves and hairnets will be provided by Glide.

COVID Guidelines: Masks are optional. Please cancel if you are not feeling well.  Please have a copy of your proof of vaccination available upon arrival.
