  • G4G San Francisco + AIDS/LifeCycle
     December 4, 2021
     9:00 am - 12:30 pm

WHAT: Join G4G SF and SF AIDS Foundation to help with preparations for AIDS/LifeCycle (ALC) 2022. ALC is a 7-day, 545 mile bicycle fundraising ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles. The event raises funds and awareness for HIV prevention and treatment to San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the LA LGBT Center.

For this activity, we will be assembling tent chips, placing small plastic “chips” into small bags and placing them on boards.  These chips are distributed to riders and volunteers on Orientation Day, the day before the ride begins, when all participants are required to check in. Riders and volunteers camp each night of the ride and tent chips are given to participants to indicate their tent assignment for the ride.  Staff will provide easy to follow instructions on completing this project.

Note that G4G will also be volunteering at the Orientation Day at Cow Palace next year (6/4/22).

WHEN: Saturday, December 4 from 9:00 to 12:30 pm (registration begins at 9:00 and orientation begins at 9:30).

WHERE: SF AIDS Foundation’s Headquarters, 1035 Market St, Ste #400, San Francisco.  Parking is limited so public transportation is highly recommended. Please check in with Security in the Lobby and then take the elevator to the 4th Floor. There will be signs to direct you to the meeting place.
