Come be a part of our partnership with The Salvation Army Kroc Center! We’ll be assisting in assembling food boxes and hygiene kits for the Family Resource Center, helping them provide essential items and food to individuals and families across San Diego. This is a wonderful chance to give back and make a positive impact in our community.
Important Information for Every Volunteer to Know
Event Date: Tuesday, March 25
Time: 5:30pm to 7:30pm
Location: 6845 University Avenue, San Diego CA 92115
Meeting Location: Family Resource Center, the Family Resource Center is at the corner of the building on 69th Street and University. The lobby door faces 69th Street (east side of the building).
Parking: Parking is available in the parking lot in front of the building as space permits. There is also a small parking lot parallel to 69th Street that we are welcome to park in. Please plan ahead for parking as the parking lots can fill up with the variety of events going on at the Kroc Center.
Volunteers are welcome to use public transportation or purchase parking in a different location.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
- Face coverings are encouraged to be worn by unvaccinated volunteers
- Casual and comfortable clothing
- Closed toe shoes are required
- Limited to 25 volunteers
- Must be 8 years or older, volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
COVID Guidelines: If you or a member of your household has shown any signs/symptoms of COVID-19 or any other illness, we ask that you refrain from volunteering at this time.
