G4G San Diego + The Chicano Federation of San Diego August 10, 2024

It’s back-to-school time! We are partnering with our friends at The Chicano Federation of San Diego for their annual back-to-school distribution. We will be helping with setting up, distributing the supplies and backpacks and cleaning up. This is a large event for the Federation, and they expect about 1000 families there. This is a great opportunity to make a difference while giving back to our community.

EVENT DATE: Saturday, August, 10

TWO SHIFTS
Shift 1 7:00am to 10:00am
Shift 2: 10:00am – 1:00pm

LOCATION: 4348 54^th Street, San Diego CA 92115

Learn4Life City Heights

MEETING LOCATION: Parking & meeting details will be reviewed during the Volunteer Training on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at 1:30pm

Volunteers are welcome to use public transportation or purchase parking in a different location.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

• Face coverings are encouraged to be worn by unvaccinated volunteers
• Casual and comfortable clothing
• Closed toe shoes are required
• Must be 8 years or older, volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

COVID Guidelines: If you or a member of your household has shown any signs/symptoms of COVID-19, we ask that you refrain from volunteering at this time.
