Volunteer With Us at The Center

Gay For Good San Diego is proud to partner with our friends at The Center. Join us as we assist Yellow-Shoe Assembly and AIDS Walk San Diego with preparations for the 2022 AIDS Walk.  We will be preparing packets, organizing materials and assembling Yellow Shoe cut outs that will identify different teams participating in the walk. This is a great opportunity to make a difference and get involved while giving back to our community.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR EVERY VOLUNTEER TO KNOW

EVENT DATE: Friday, September 23

TIME:  1:00pm to 4:00pm

LOCATION: 3909 Centre Street, San Diego, CA 92103

MEETING LOCATION: At the front of the location

PARKING:  Street parking is available at the location

Volunteers are welcome to use public transportation or purchase parking in a different location.

 

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

• All volunteers must be fully vaccinated including a booster. Verification must be provided at the beginning of the volunteer shift. Anyone not vaccinated and not able to provide proof in the form of a vaccination card, photo or digital card will not be able to volunteer.
• KN95 face coverings are required and will be provided
• Casual and comfortable clothing
• Closed toe shoes are required
• Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older
• Limited to 10 volunteers

COVID Guidelines: If you or a member of your household has shown any signs/symptoms of COVID-19, we ask that you refrain from volunteering at this time.
