G4G San Diego + San Diego Pride 07/16/2023

We are proud to partner with our friends at San Diego PRIDE for the 2023 San Diego PRIDE Festival celebration with a special theme of “Thrive.” At the festival we will be assisting at the main entrance with checking IDs, accepting tickets, wrist banding guests and providing general directions.  With our support, we will help make a difference by celebrating diversity and belonging while connecting others within the LGBTQ+ community. This is a great opportunity to make a difference in our LGBTQ+ community!

 IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR EVERY VOLUNTEER TO KNOW

EVENT DATE: Sunday, July 16

TWO SHIFTS TO PICK FROM: Volunteer for a few hours and then enjoy the event!
1:30pm to 4:00pm
4:00pm to 6:30pm

LOCATION: Balboa Park Sixth Avenue & Laurel Street, San Diego CA 92103

PARKING:  Parking will be a challenge as this is a widely attended event. Volunteers are encouraged to carpool.  Parking can be found throughout the neighborhood so please make sure to arrive with plenty of time to park and walk to the event.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

• Face coverings are encouraged to be worn by unvaccinated volunteers
• Casual and comfortable/workplace appropriate clothing
• Sun protection
• Closed toe shoes are required
• Volunteers must be 13 years old (must have a parent/guardian if under the age of 18)
• Limited to 25 volunteers per shift
