G4G San Diego & San Diego Humane Society Event May 3, 2025

Calling all animal lovers! Join us as we partner with the San Diego Humane Society for their Walk For Animals event. Help us make a difference for over 40,000 animals who rely on the Humane Society’s care!

We’ll be volunteering at one of the Water Stations, making sure both walkers and their pups stay hydrated and energized as they make their way to the finish line. It’s a fantastic opportunity to give back and show support for our furry friends in need. Come get involved and make a pawsitive impact

Important Information for Every Volunteer to Know

Event Date: Saturday, May 3

Time: 8:30am to 11:00am

Location: 2455 Cushing Road, San Diego, CA 92106

Meeting Location: NTC Park at Liberty Station – Volunteer Check In

Parking: Parking lots and street parking are available around the meeting location. You may park in the surrounding streets or in any front parking lot spot not labeled for drop offs/appointments.

Disability Accommodations: Available upon request – please email ljohnson@sdhumane.org if there is anything we can clarify or provide to make all participants feel comfortable and fully included.

Additional Details:

• Face coverings are encouraged to be worn by unvaccinated volunteers
• Casual and comfortable clothing
• Closed toe shoes are required
• Bring a water bottle or two
• Must be 18 years or older
• Limited to 15 volunteers

2. When asked in the application, be sure to select our group name
3. Follow instructions on how to sign up for our assigned role
4. That’s it!
