Celebrate your Pride! We are proud to join our friends at Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest helping them get ready for their march in the San Diego Pride Parade, where they hand out kid-friendly giveaways and condom goodie bags. We are excited to support assembling these giveaway items in preparation for this fun and vibrant community celebration. This is a great opportunity to show your Pride and make a difference while giving back to our community.
Important Information for Every Volunteer to Know
Event Date: Saturday, June 28
Time: 10:00am to 12:00pm
Location: 7035 Convoy Court, San Diego CA 92111
Meeting Location: Enter the Training Center through the back side of the building. Kearny Mesa Joan & Irwin Jacobs Center.
Parking: Parking is available in the parking lot in the far back west-facing side of the parking lot. There is plenty of street parking. Please plan ahead for parking as the parking lots can fill up on a Saturday with the variety of events.
Volunteers are welcome to use public transportation or purchase parking in a different location.
Additional Details:
- Face coverings are encouraged to be worn by unvaccinated volunteers
- Casual and comfortable clothing
- Closed toe shoes are required
- Limited to 25 volunteers
- Must be 8 years or older, volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
COVID Guidelines: If you or a member of your household has shown any signs/symptoms of COVID-19, we ask that you refrain from volunteering at this time.
