G4G San Diego + Patagonia/ILACSD

WHAT:

Join G4G San Diego, Patagonia Cardiff, Queer Climbing Collective, and I Love A Clean San Diego for the largest beach clean up in San Diego County, the California Coastal Cleanup Day!  There will be some prize giveaways and snacks and drinks!

WHEN:

Saturday, September 21, 2019 from 8:45 am to 12 noon.  Volunteers will meet at 8:45 am and start their shift at 9 am.

WHERE:

Meet at Seaside State Beach in Cardiff!

DIRECTIONS:

From I-5 North: Exit at Lomas Santa Fe Dr., head West/Left. Turn North/Right on N. Hwy 101. Coming out of Solana Beach, near the San Elijo Lagoon, Seaside is located on the left hand side. Look for the large parking lot.

From I-5 South: Exit at Encinitas Blvd., head West/Right. Turn South/Left on S. Coast Hwy 101. Continue down Hwy. 101 pass San Elijo Campground and Restaurant Row. Seaside is located on the right hand side. Look for the large parking lot.

WHO:

G4G San Diego events are open to people of all ages, abilities, identities, and expressions.  Every participant will need to sign both a G4G and a California Coastal Cleanup Day waiver; anyone under the age of 18 needs a parent or guardian signature to participate!  We will take a group photo with our banner before we begin our volunteer shift.  Please bring your family and friends too!  The event will be held outdoors, rain or shine.  Please dress in comfortable clothes.  Wear a hat and/or sunscreen.
