G4G San Diego + Kitchens For Good 2019

Join Gay For Good San Diego as we partner once again with Kitchens For Good to prepare meals for hungry children in San Diego County!  All volunteers must register online at the Kitchens For Good website (details below) to reserve a spot as space is limited!

WHEN:

Thursday, October 10, 2019 from 4 pm to 7 pm

WHAT:

Gay For Good will be doing Community Cooking. Volunteers and culinary students upcycle otherwise wasted food into wholesome, scratch-made meals for hungry kids in San Diego. No cooking experience required.  Participate in a way that’s most comfortable to you! You can wash veggies, chop fruit,  bread zucchini, or package meals to send out into the community.

WHO:

All G4G San Diego events are open to people of all abilities, gender expressions, and identities.  All volunteers will need to register at the Kitchens For Good website to reserve their spot:  https://kitchensforgood.volunteerhub.com/lp/GayforGood/

All volunteers will need to sign a waiver for both Kitchens For Good and Gay For Good before beginning their shift.  We will meet at 4 pm and do a brief orientation and take a group photo.
