Gay For Good San Diego is excited to partner with our friends at I Love A Clean San Diego for the 20th Anniversary Creek to Bay Cleanup. Be a part of the largest Earth Week cleanup in all of San Diego County. We will be helping to keep San Diego clean and beautiful by picking up trash and litter. This is a great opportunity to make a difference in our community and celebrate Earth Week!
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR EVERY VOLUNTEER TO KNOW
EVENT DATE: Saturday, April 23
TIME: 9:00am to 12:00pm
LOCATION: Mission Beach Park 2688 E Mission Bay Drive, San Diego CA 92109 (Mission Bay is huge, please be sure to use the exact address.
Meeting Location: Meet in front of the old empty church building.
PARKING: Parking lot with plenty of parking available.
Volunteers are welcome to use public transportation or purchase parking in a different location.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
- Face coverings are optional
- Casual and comfortable clothing
- Closed-toe comfortable shoes are required
- Don’t forget sunscreen and/or a hat for sun protection
- Bring a water bottle or two
- Feel free to bring work gloves, a bucket and a litter grabber if you want.
- Volunteers under 18 years of age must join with a parent/guardian
COVID Guidelines: If you or a member of your household has shown any signs/symptoms of COVID-19, we ask that you refrain from volunteering at this time.
