San Diego Half Marathon is hosting an event as G4G San Diego is joining our friends at Front Runners & Walkers San Diego to assist with setting up, passing out water, gathering discarded water cups and breaking the set up down. Front Runners and Walkers of San Diego will provide coffee and snacks. This is a great opportunity to get involved while giving back to our community.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR EVERY VOLUNTEER TO KNOW
EVENT DATE: Sunday, August 20
TIME: 6:30am to 9:30am
LOCATION: 6th Avenue and Elm Street, San Diego CA 92101
MEETING LOCATION: At the corner of 6th Avenue and Elm Street
PARKING: Street parking is available around the meeting location.
Volunteers are welcome to carpool, use public transportation or purchase parking in a different location.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
- Face coverings are encouraged to be worn by unvaccinated volunteers
- Casual and comfortable clothing
- Closed toe shoes are required
- Don’t forget sunscreen and/or a hat for sun protection
- Must be 16 years or older
- Limited to 20 volunteers
