Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 8:45 am to 11:45 am

WHERE:

Spanish Landing Park EAST (across from the San Diego International Airport, Terminal 2 exit)

WHAT:

Be sure to wear sunscreen and/or a hat, as well as closed-toe shoes.  You may also bring a reusable bucket, sturdy gloves, and a water bottle as well.  However, all materials will be provided for the cleanup.

WHO:

This event is open to everyone of all ages, abilities, and gender identity/expression.  All are welcome!  We will be partnering with both the San Diego Airport Authority and I Love A Clean San Diego for this event.  We ask that you sign both a G4G San Diego waiver and release as well as a Creek to Bay waiver and release before your volunteer shift begins.  These will be provided.  We will also take a group photo.

WHY:

On Saturday, April 21st from 8:45 AM to 11:45 AM, thousands of San Diegans will gather to cleanup and beautify over 100 coastal and inland sites across San Diego County. Sign up now to make a lasting impact on our entire region.  Last year, a record breaking 6,588 volunteers came out to over 112 sites and successfully removed over 194,169 pounds of litter and debris. Instead of turning a blind eye to the abundance of litter found across San Diego County, volunteers channeled their passion into action for San Diego’s environment to protect and enhance it.
