G4G San Diego + Clean California CommUnity Event

Join us as we partner with Clean California and Caltrans for a very unique CommUnity event. We will be assisting at various booths and ensuring the safety of the members of the public as they bike, walk and clean the closed freeway. Yes, Caltrans will be closing a section of State Road 15 between State Route 94 and Interstate 5. Come join us for this very unique event and be a part of the CommUnity!
Important Information For Every Volunteer To Know
Date: Saturday, March 25
Time: 9:30am – 1:00pm
Location: State Road 15 (SR-15) and Ocean View Boulevard, San Diego CA 92113
Meeting Location: State Road 15 (SR-15) and Ocean View Boulevard, there will be a stage on SR-15 for us to meet.
Parking: There is NO on-site parking. Volunteers should take the trolley or use other means of transportation—like ride-share services or public transportation—to the meetup location. Volunteers are encouraged to carpool.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
- Face coverings are encouraged to be worn by unvaccinated volunteers
- Casual and comfortable clothing
- Closed toe shoes are required
- Don’t forget sunscreen and/or a hat for sun protection
- Must be 16 years or older
