Welcome To The Farm!
Information regarding the specific activity will be emailed to the volunteers about one week prior to the event. Volunteer activities could include chopping veggies for animals, organizing spaces, animal enrichment, running laundry, animal house cleaning, and clearing new land on the property.
Date: Saturday, May 13
Time: 9am–1pm
Location: 7432 NC Hwy 87 N, Pittsboro NC 27312 (Parking is at our forest parking lot. Pull into the large gravel road that is next to mailbox #7432. You will see open red gates at the entrance, purple parking signs, and our road sign.)
Additional Information: Everyone should dress for working outdoors. Recommend rubber boots or other close-toed shoes. Work gloves are provided, but volunteers can bring their own if they wish. A water bottle is also recommended. They have water stations for refilling at various places at the Refuge.

Age Restrictions: We welcome people ages 18 and up and children ages 10 and up who volunteer alongside a parent or legal guardian.
Piedmont Farm Animal Refuge provides lifelong care to rescued farm animals, educates people about the realities of animal agriculture, and promotes veganism by offering knowledge, support, and community.
