Join us when we return to one of our more popular project locations, Carolina Tiger Rescue, in Pittsboro, NC. Did you not know there was such a place in NC? You can read all about them HERE.

The Center is located at 1240 Hanks Chapel Rd., in Pittsboro. Our duties may include clearing vines and brush from empty enclosures, digging trenches for drainage, building or dismantling fences or other light construction tasks. As a volunteer, you should be prepared for moderately strenuous physical work in a fairly rustic, natural outdoor environment. NOTE: We will not be interacting directly with the animals, but volunteers do get a tour of the facility, either before or after the project.

The project is open to 8 volunteers and the spots typically fill up quickly, so sign up ASAP. Please only sign up if you are pretty certain you will attend. The project is open to adults, aged 18 years and older. In addition to registering on this page, you must also register HERE

G4G respects and will comply with our service project partner’s COVID protocols.  At the very least, please keep a mask handy if we are requested to use them.

After the project is completed, we can grab lunch in the area. The project leader will keep you informed about COVID guidelines and any other project details.
