     8:30 am - 2:30 pm

We have many shifts available at this year’s Stand Up Behavioral Health Expo—from set up to clean up.

First up, volunteers will be assisting with setting up tables and guiding vendors to their specific areas. When the expo opens, Gay For Good will have our own table for volunteers to pass out donated clothing and hygiene items to the many un-housed visitors attending. Volunteers are also welcome to participate and gather information from the expo after their shift.

Date: Saturday, May 4
Time: Multiple shifts from 8:30am–2:30pm
Location: Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, 1401 E. Jefferson Street, Phoenix, AZ 85034 (Parking will be provided in the church parking lot.)

If you would like to donate items from your springtime cleaning of gently used items, please email phoenix@gayforgood.org for a drop-off location. The un-housed community are families of all ages—all sizes are encouraged. Donations not used at the expo will be donated to another organization in need.

Wear closed-toe shoes and comfortable, weather-appropriate clothes. We might be outside so sunglasses, a hat, and sunscreen are encouraged.

Age Requirement: 14 and older (minors must be accompanied by an adult)

Project Leads: Dawn, Joshua, Jason
