Friends of the Riverfront joins Allegheny CleanWays and Gay For Good for a Day of Volunteering!
Join us on the Lawrenceville segment of the Three Rivers Heritage & Water Trail for a Trail Care Saturday opportunity!
Volunteers will be split into two groups and rotate projects.
Projects include land based work with Friends of the Riverfront including vegetation management, tree tending, and litter cleanup; water based work with Allegheny CleanWays includes a cleanup of litter accumulated along the riverfront of the Allegheny River.
Participants will have the opportunity to participate in both land and water based work.

Time: 9am – 12pm
Location: Lawrenceville Three Rivers Heritage Trail, Lawrenceville, Pittsburgh, PA 15201
Volunteer Slots: 10
Ages: 18+
Additional Details:
- Public transportation available nearby. Parking also available nearby.
- Please wear sturdy shoes, long pants, and layered sleeves to be removed. Monitor the forecast and dress for the weather, we will work through light to moderate rain. Bring a reusable water bottle, water refills will be available.
- All other project supplies and equipment will be provided.
