  • G4G Palm Springs + Mizell Center
     October 11, 2022
     3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

G4G Palm Springs is partnering with Mizell Center to collect and sort donations for adults and create clothing care packages for students.

Celebrate National Coming Out Day with Us!

Clean out those closets and meet us at the Mizell Center to drop off and process your donations of new and gently used clothing for adults and children, small appliances, jewelry, housewares, children’s books, and anything else hiding in your closets that you’d like to donate to the Mizell Center’s resale shop.  All proceeds from donated goods to Aunt Betty’s Resale Shop will support Mizell’s life-affirming programs and services.

Children’s clothing donations will go to students at Cabot Yerxa Elementary School who have limited access to clean, wearable clothing for school.

We will also have a card-making station set up to create cards for Mizell’s Meals on Wheels clients

Date: October 11, 2022

Time:  3:00pm – 5:00pm  (Clothing drive sorting, drop-off, and volunteering)

All volunteers are invited to join us for a celebratory rainbow ice cream social afterward. Come meet your local chapter leaders and we will be joined by Gay For Good’s Executive Director, Anne Friedman and Regional Volunteer Coordinator, Lor Mayne-Leduc.
