Help us protect the local wildlife and keep the city clean!
Gay For Good Palm Springs is volunteering with Tahquitz Creek Yacht Club for a sunny day outdoors where volunteers will participate in a dry creek bed environmental clean-up to remove trash and debris. Trash bags will be provided. There is no volunteer limit, all are welcome!
*Please join us immediately after for a social brunch at Townie Bagel Bakery Cafe – 650 E Sunny Dunes Rd. Palm Springs, CA 92264

Location: 828 S. Riverside Dr., Palm Springs, CA 92264 (Meet at the bridge on S. Camino Real & S. Riverside Drive)
Parking: Plenty of parking will be available on Riverside Drive
Age Restrictions: All ages are welcome

Additional Info: The Tahquitz Creek Yacht Club & Gay For Good will meet at the south end of the footbridge at South Camino Real and South Riverside Drive. Please bring a hat, sunscreen, and clothes you are comfortable working in. Garden gloves are recommended, if you have them.

About Our Partner: TCYC has been in existence since 2007. Volunteers meet monthly to undo some of the environmental damage being done to wildlife and the water supply by unthoughtful human activity. They collect bottles, food wrappers, discarded condoms, sleeping bags, hats, jackets, plastic coffee cups, and thousands of cigarette butts clogging the creek and littering the running path.
