Come volunteer with us as we partner with Pride on the Page!
This incredible book festival, presented by the Palm Springs Public Library Foundation, will celebrate LGBTQIA+ authors and voices.
Volunteers are needed to help check in attendees at the festival and will work together in groups of two in two hour shifts.
Date: Sunday, October 20th
Time: Multiple Shifts
- Shift 1 – 10:00am-12:00pm (2 Volunteer Slots Available)
- Shift 2 – 12:00pm-2:00pm (2 Volunteer Slots Available)
- Shift 3 – 2:00pm-4:00pm (2 Volunteer Slots Available)
- Note: please arrive 15-30 minutes before shift starts
Location: Palm Springs Cultural Center, 2300 E Baristo Rd, Palm Springs, CA 92262

What To Wear: Casual Clothing
Additional Information: Volunteers will need a smartphone as we will have them check folks in on an Eventbrite App which organizer can help set up (there will also be paper printouts as well in case there are any glitches on phones).
About Our Partner: The Pride on the Page Book Festival, presented by the Palm Springs Public Library Foundation, is a FREE full day festival featuring six panels of 25+ LGBTQIA+ and affirming authors and allies in conversation about their books and dynamic topics, book signings, a local authors table, typewriter poetry, LGBTQIA+ presses, updates about the Palm Springs Library Renovation, and much more!
