Join Gay For Good Palm Springs to volunteer at the Prescott Preserve. Our day of volunteering will be outdoors on the preserve. This is essentially gardening oriented services and tree planting/watering. Other tasks might include moving brush, cleaning up trails, and removing trash. Volunteers should be able to bend over, kneel on the ground, and pick up and carry trash. We’ll start this event early and finish early to beat the heat!

Age Restriction: 18+
Additional Details: Please dress in cool, comfortable work clothes and closed-toe shoes you don’t mind getting dirty. Bring gloves and a hat! Parking will be available on the Prescott Preserve property.
Directions & Parking: We will meet at the Prescott Preserve Headquarters. Go to Sunrise and Sunny Dunes Road. Turn on the street marked Desert Chapel, follow to the end of the small street past the church and school. Turn into the Preserve through the gate and park inside the gate. Please do not park on the street or on the church property.
About our Partner: The mission of the Prescott Preserve is to have accessible urban areas to bike, walk, bird watch and sit but also have designated wildlife only areas.
