Join Gay For Good OC/Long Beach to feed the hungry

Join Gay For Good OC/Long Beach to volunteer with Urban Community Outreach to help feed the hungry in Downtown Long Beach. We will prep, package, and distribute nearly 200 meals!

Date: Sunday, May 28th

Time:  10:00am – 2:00pm

Location: First Congregational Church of Long Beach, 241 Cedar Ave, Long Beach, CA 90802

Parking: Street parking and parking garages are available nearby. Generally speaking, parking meters near the area are free on Sunday, but please check each individual area, the parking meters are enforced on some major streets like Pacific and Pine Avenue.

Age Restriction: 14+ accompanied by an adult.

Covid Guidelines: To protect the safety of our clients, all volunteers must show proof of COVID-19 vaccination, and all volunteers must wear a facemask properly, covering both the mouth and nose.

Additional Details:  Entry is through the steel mesh doors on Cedar Avenue. Once you are in the courtyard, enter the dining hall on the left. Please wear closed-toed shoes with good grip and a face mask. Volunteers with long hair must have their hair pulled back.
