G4G OC/Long Beach + Unlimited Possibilities | June 1, 2024

Join G4G OC/Long Beach as we once again partner with Unlimited Possibilities’ UP to Us Club Day! Volunteers will help set up craft stations and decor and pair up with children with and without disabilities to help them enjoy a fun-filled day of friendship, crafts, sensory games, and more.

Date: Saturday, June 1
Time: 12pm – 3:30pm
Location: 1251 E. Dyer Road, Suite 150, Santa Ana 92705. The entrance is on the back side of the building—Please drive around and enter where you see the Unlimited Possibilities sign. (Do not enter where you see 1251 address really big.)

Additional Information:

• Volunteers arrive at Noon (please eat before) and you are welcome to bring your own snacks and water bottle. We will have some snacks, but those are mostly for campers. We will also have a popcorn maker and volunteers can have as much popcorn as they’d like.
• Between Noon–1pm, volunteers receive a tour, set up activity stations, and review camper profiles—understanding their diagnosis, behavior strategies, and likes and dislikes
• 1pm—Campers Arrive
  • We are in a large play room and gym so there are toys, arts and crafts, games, slides, etc.
  • Volunteers are matched with a camper to provide 1:1 support
  • Volunteers help campers engage with others and play
• 2:30pm—Organized Dance Class
  • We have a group who will do 15 minutes of dance and stretches
• 3:00pm—Parent Pick Up
• 3pm–3:30pm Clean Up (with many hands, we will likely be done by 3:15pm. If you are being picked up, please tell your ride to be there by 3:15pm)

What To Wear: Please dress comfortably—recommend pants and a t-shirt. No dresses or skirts—some kiddos run around and may run between legs.
