Fill Easter Baskets for Children in Long Beach
Volunteer with G4G and Community Action Team volunteers to assemble 2,250+ essentials-filled Easter baskets for Long Beach area kids.
Date: Sunday, April 6
Time: 11:00am – 1:00pm (this is shift 1, volunteers are welcome to stay longer)
Location: Bay Shore Church Youth Center
5200 E. The Toledo @ Nieto Ave. Long Beach, CA 90803
Ages: Open to all ages
Project Lead: Maryjoy
Bonus: Donate gender neutral items for the baskets for children ages 4-12. This can include: Small toys, school supplies (i.e. note pad, pens, pencils), art supplies (i.e. crayons, markers), hygiene products (i.e. toothbrushes, full-size toothpaste, full-size shampoo and full-size body wash, acne face wash), essential clothing items (i.e. socks), and some full-size Easter candy bars and granola bars.
