Volunteer with G4G OC/Long Beach and the Little Lion Foundation

Join Gay For Good OC/Long Beach volunteers to support The Little Lion Foundation’s 4th annual Home for the Pawlidays Pet Adoption and Craft Fair. 

We will be helping the different animal rescue groups unload supplies and animals from the parking lot into the event space. This includes bringing in pet crates, walking in dogs, carrying in cats/dogs in carriers, setting up crates or puppy pens, and directing rescues on where to setup inside the building. Volunteers are welcome to stay afterward to enjoy the event.

Time: 8:30am – 11:00am
Location: Long Beach Town Center 7641 Carson Blvd, Long Beach (Next to Petsmart)

Age Restrictions: Anyone under the age of 15 needs to be accompanied by an adult.

What to Wear: Comfortable clothes and closed toe shoes.

Parking: There is plenty of parking available onsite.

Covid Protocols: This event is indoors. Masks are recommended, but not required.

About our partner: Founded in 2016, The Little Lion Foundation is an all-volunteer based team dedicated to saving the lives of cats and kittens in need — specifically orphaned or medical kittens — and helping them find the home they deserve. We specialize in neonatal, orphaned, and special needs kittens as well as trauma cases. We pride ourselves in saving the ones left discarded…from blind to physical disabilities and deformities, we believe every kitty is worth fighting for and every cat deserves to roar.
