Set Up and Support the Honolulu Zoo’s Annual Zoofari Gala!

Be a part of the zoo’s unforgettable evening as Zoofari returns to the Honolulu Zoo grounds for its highly anticipated annual gala! This year’s theme is Rhino Rendezvous and funds raised from the gala will support essential improvements to the rhino habitat, enhancing the care and environment of these magnificent creatures.

Morning Volunteers:
The morning session involves event setup including table and chair set up, table décor, silent auction table and items set up, and if time decorate the stage and gate where guests will enter. Please dress comfortably and bring lots of water and snacks.

Evening support:
Volunteers will help with greeting guests at check in, be placed in areas of the zoo to help guide guests on the right path for their self guided tour before the sun sets, tend to the silent auction tent to help guests use the online system and explain the items, assist with the live auction out in the crowd, assist with packing up, and handing out all the silent auction items once the auction closes. We ask that volunteers wear all black and there will be light food available.
