Volunteer with G4G NYC in the Hamptons at HMI’s School’s Out Benefit!

The annual Hetrick-Martin Institute’s Summer Benefit, School’s Out is returning to the Hampton’s on July 15th and are looking for volunteers! Hetrick-Martin Institute (HMI) is the nation’s oldest LGBTQIA+ youth services organization that provides queer and trans youth, primarily of color, with access to free, long-term, wellness services, social services, basic needs such as toiletries and clothing, as well as remote and in-person programming services focused on education, workforce development and arts & culture.

School’s Out brings together a who’s who crowd of the LGBTQIA+ community and its allies on the East End to raise funds for the organization. Check out coverage on last year’s event here.

Volunteers will help with registration, manage the red carpet experience, live and silent auctions and gift bags.

Transportation will be provided from Manhattan at 8:45AM and will return back to Manhattan after the event ends at 8PM (Estimated return to Manhattan around 9:30PM).  If you are already in the Hamptons, call time is 11:30AM.  Lunch and dinner will be provided.

Manhattan pick up: HMI (2 Astor Place, New York, NY, 10003)
If you plan on meeting at the venue, the location will be disclosed at a later date—It will be in Water Mill, NY. 

Attire
HMI will provide volunteers with shirts. Volunteers should wear khaki shorts, skirts, skorts, or pants and comfortable closed toe footwear.
