Join Gay For Good New York City This Wednesday At the Emery Awards Ball!
Come volunteer at the Emery Awards Ball put on by the Hetrick-Martin Institute (HMI). HMI is the nation’s oldest organization helping gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ) youth to reach their full potential. On Wednesday, November 16, HMI is looking for volunteers to help put on their Awards Ball.
Event Support Volunteers will help with various tasks during the ball. Tasks may include registration, silent auction, purple carpet, etc. To register for this event, please fill out the form on this website, AND head to this link to provide your interest level for each potential assignment.
Age Restrictions
All volunteers must be over the age of 21.
Dress Code
Volunteer attire is all black.
Every shift requires a long period of standing and walking around.
Some tasks may include lifting and moving heavy items.
All shifts include teardown.
