Hell’s Kitchen Community Cupboard is a free, community-run resource that aims to combat both food insecurity and food waste. Our volunteers collect and distribute free food by partnering with local businesses and organizations to rescue what would otherwise go to waste. Our cupboard is filled with rescued food more than 20x per week and is in need of some serious TLC. Gay for Good volunteers will be helping to disassemble the shelves and wipe down all of the interior surfaces and then bag up groceries to fill the shelves up with food for the community.

What You’ll Do
Help disassemble the Cupboard shelves and clean all the surfaces. Reassemble everything then, once it is fresh and shiny, bag groceries to fill up the pantry with free food for the community.
Attire
Comfortable clothes you don’t mind cleaning and being outdoors in for a few hours.
