G4G Denver partners with Metro Caring!
Metro Caring is a leading anti-hunger organization in Colorado. Metro Caring works with our community to meet people’s immediate need for nutritious, culturally relevant food while building a movement to end hunger at its root causes.
Date: Wednesday, May 21
Time: 12:00pm – 3:30pm
Location: 1100 E 18th Ave, Denver, CO 80218
Project Tasks: There will be a variety of volunteer roles, from welcoming shoppers, sorting food, stocking the shelves, and more. You will get assigned a role on the day of your shift–and it could change each shift, so you always get to try new things. We can accommodate different physical abilities when we place you for your role.

Volunteers Needed: 15
Age restrictions: 18+
What to wear/bring:
- We ask that you dress appropriately for the work you might do, and clothes that you might be okay with getting a little dirty.
- Layers – you might be going in and out of a cooler or freezer
- Closed-toe shoes
- And bring water!
- (Metro Caring will provide gloves)
