G4G Los Angeles + Repair the World
January 14, 2023
9:00 am - 11:00 am
G4G Los Angeles is volunteering with Repair the World for MLK weekend
Join Gay For Good LA to volunteer with Repair the World to decorate duffel bags for children in foster care. Repair the World is generously providing 70 bags to decorate!
Kids in care often leave their homes with all of their belongings in trash bags. We will be decorating duffel bags with fun pictures to provide them with dignity and a nice bag to put their belongings in. We will also be writing a kind note to go in each bag, along with a stuffed animal. All of the decorated bags will be donated to Penny Lane and Casa Youth Shelter.
