G4G + Free Bikes 4 Kidz

G4G Twin Cities is partnering with Free Bikes 4 Kidz (FB4K) again this fall! We had such a good time helping match kids with their bikes this past summer, we are returning  to go “behind the scenes” to help clean and prep donated bikes so they are ready to deliver those great smiles we witnessed at the give away event.

Free Bikes 4 Kidz MN is a non-profit organization geared toward helping all kids ride into a happier, healthier childhood by providing bikes to those most in need. The public donates gently used bikes, we organize thousands of volunteers to clean and refurbish them, and then we give them away to kids in need.

On Saturday, 10/23, from 12 noon- 3 pm, G4G Twin Cities volunteers will clean, prep and shine up donated bikes to get them ready for their new homes!

AND…since we are right in the middle of HALLOWEEN season, we would like to invite our volunteers to attend in costume!  Keep in mine, your costume should not impede your ability to work and we must comply with warehouse safety protocol, such as wearing closed toe shoes.

Date and Time:  Saturday, October 23, 2021.  12 noon- 3pm.  Please arrive by 11:45 am.

Location: 6100 Shingle Creek Parkway, Brooklyn Center, MN 55430.  FB4K is at the backside of the building (southeast corner) by the loading docks.

Additional Details:  This is an indoor event and masks are required.  Please dress for comfort with the possibility of getting a little dirty (we are cleaning bikes, afterall) This might challenge your creativity for a costume, but we can’t wait to see the results!
