G4G DFW + The Welman Project + Equality Texas | March 21, 2025

Come decorate and write postcards to be sent to the Texas Legislators!

We will be partnering with Equality Texas and The Welman Project to write and decorate postcards to send down to Austin to give feedback on current bills in the Texas State Legislature. Postcards will be provided! It is critical that our state government hears opinions from all of their constituents and this is a great way to do it without having to go down to Austin in person!

What To Wear/Bring: Comfortable clothes. We will have stickers and decorating supplies, but if you have anything you really want to use to decorate your postcard feel free!

Ages: All ages welcome. Minors must be accompanied by an adult

About Our Partner:  The Welman Project serves as a free resource for teachers, distributing surplus materials from local companies for creative reuse in the classroom and beyond, along with making creativity accessible to the whole community through a creative reuse storefront and workshops. Equality Texas works to secure full equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer Texans through education, community organizing, and collaboration.
