Our pollinators help bring everything to life and we’ll be doing our part to give them a great environment. Join G4G DFW as we partner with the Native Plant Society of Texas for a morning of weeding, mulching, cleaning, and cutting back overgrowth at the most prominent garden at the Fort Worth Zoo.

Date: Friday, May 24
Time: 9–11:30am
Location: 1989 Colonial Parkway, Fort Worth, TX 76110 (Parking available on site, no charge.)

Pants and closed-toe shoes are required, be sure to wear clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty. We will be outdoors so consider sunscreen and a refillable water bottle.

Age Requirement: All ages are welcome.

Project Lead: Scott

About Our Partner: Serving all of Tarrant County, the North Central Chapter of the Native Plant Society has over 380 members, who maintain thirteen demo gardens full of plants native to north central Texas. The Fort Worth Zoo garden is one of the newest and most prominent gardens. Maintaining this garden takes a tremendous effort and we always appreciate help keeping it looking its best and serving the ecosystem.
