G4G DFW + Love Of The Lake | April 13, 2024

Join G4G DFW as we once again partner with For the Love of the Lake for their monthly Shoreline Spruce Up at White Rock Lake Park. Volunteers collect litter throughout White Rock Lake Park, up White Rock Creek, and along the shoreline.

 Armed with trash bags and a passion for East Dallas and its jewel White Rock Lake, we will join an army of volunteers to help maintain and protect White Rock Lake Park for the enjoyment of all the residents of Dallas.

—Picking Up Supplies—
FTLOTL needs volunteers to drive up to their headquarters and stay in your car while their staff sign you in and put cleanup supplies in your trunk. If at all possible, try to go through the line between 8:30–8:45am.

• Pick Up Location: For the Love of the Lake Headquarters, 1152 N. Buckner Blvd., Suite 123, Dallas, TX 75218

—Lake Clean Up—
Once you get your supplies, meet the rest of us on the lake shore next to the Bath House Cultural Center between 8:45am – 8:50am. If you miss us, look for people dressed in G4G or Pride gear heading towards the dam.

• Clean Up Location: Bath House Cultural Center, 521 E. Lawther Dr., Dallas, TX 75218.

What To Bring/Wear: Please use sunscreen, insect repellent, wear work clothes, sturdy closed-toe shoes, and gloves.

Afterwards, volunteers can meet up to socialize or grab lunch at Torchy’s Tacos in Casa Linda Plaza, 9440 Garland Rd. Suite 234, Dallas, TX 75218.
