G4G Denver Furry Scurry Assistance🐱🐶

We are excited to have our second event helping the Denver Dumb Friends League Furry Scurry! The Furry Scurry is an annual, two-mile walk to support the vital mission of ending pet homelessness and animal suffering. Known as the Dumb Friends League signature fundraiser, this event helps provide specialized and compassionate care for animals who need it most. 

Each year, more than 22,000 homeless pets and horses come through their doors in need of warm shelter, nourishment, and medical attention—your Furry Scurry registration fee, as well as any additional funds raised, make these essential services possible for every animal in our care.

Friday, May 3—Project Tasks: Assisting our special events and Development teams distribute event day bibs, t-shirts, and incentive items to Furry Scurry participants.
Time: 3:00 pm – 7:30pm
Location: Washington Park

Saturday, May 4—Project Tasks: Volunteers will help tear down tents, tables, chairs and boxes from the vendor, sponsor, volunteer check-in, info booth and other areas at the park. Please bring gloves and be able to life 25 pounds.
Time: 11:30am – 2:00pm
